This Privacy Policy describes how Mindful Code Studio ("we," "us," or "our") handles information through the Sound Sense mobile application. By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data Collection and Usage

2.1 Audio Data (The Core Permission)

To provide decibel measurements, Sound Sense requires access to your device's microphone.

• Local Processing: Audio samples are converted into mathematical decibel values in the device's volatile memory (RAM).
• No Recording: We do not record, save, or archive any audio files.
• No Transmission: Audio data never leaves your device. It is destroyed millisecond-by-second after the decibel value is calculated.

2.2 Technical and Analytical Data

We may collect non-personally identifiable information automatically via standard Android system logs to ensure app stability:

• Device type and OS version.
• Crash reports (anonymized stack traces).
• App usage statistics (e.g., duration of sensing sessions).

3. Third-Party Services & Monetization

We partner with third-party providers for monetization and infrastructure. These services may collect data as governed by their own policies:

3.1 Advertising (Google AdMob)

We use AdMob to serve ads. AdMob may use your Advertising ID to personalize ads and prevent fraud. You can reset this ID in your Android system settings.

3.2 Subscriptions (Google Play Billing)

When you subscribe to "Mindful Studio+", all payment processing is handled by Google Play. We do not receive or store your credit card numbers or billing address.

4. Permissions and Control

You have full control over the permissions granted to Sound Sense:

• Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): You can revoke this at any time in Android Settings. The app will cease to function without this permission.
• Internet: Used strictly for ad delivery and validating your subscription status.

5. International Standards (GDPR & CCPA)

While we do not collect personal data, we respect the rights granted under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

• Right to be informed: This policy informs you of our data-less approach.
• Right of access/deletion: Since we do not store any user data on our servers, there is no data to provide or delete.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect the integrity of the application. However, as the app does not transmit sensitive user data, the risk of data breach from our side is mitigated by our architecture.

7. Children's Privacy

Sound Sense is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly target or collect data from minors.
